Lomond - Process and Capacity

Process

LOMOND

Entry specification Produced fluids must be commercially free of odours, materials, sand and solids/fluids that might interfere or cause injury to the proper operation of the Lomond facility; which for the avoidance of doubt shall include any material that would affect the merchantable value of Lomond products.
Exit specification To meet the required specifications of the Central Area Transmission System and the Forties Pipeline System.
Primary separation The Lomond platform has two parallel processing trains and the Erskine Processing Module. Initial stage separation for both Lomond and Erskine fluids is through high pressure separation.
Gas treatment A three stage processing process is followed by separation, dehydration and export compression.
Oil export capacity 10 mbd (oil processing and export)
Gas comp capacity 184 mmscfd* (at 44 barg suction)
Gas export capacity 200 mmcsfd
Gas lift capacity None
Produced water handling 5,000 bbl/d
Dehydration capacity 200 mmscfd
H2S removal capacity None
Water injection capacity None

* From 2009 the available gas compression capacity is planned to reduce to 90 mmscfd at approximately 19 barg suction
