About this report

• This year’s Sustainability Report builds on the new format introduced in 2010, which responded to stakeholder preferences for a clear focus on performance in the year in question. Our research and consultation with stakeholders helped us to establish the material issues for 2011. In this report, the introduction to each performance section highlights key issues and developments. We have also introduced a case study on unconventional gas, a priority issue for our stakeholders.
