BG Italia Power is an independent electrical and thermal power production company. The electricity it generates is sold to the national grid, while the thermal power is sold to the adjacent FIAT plants and other off-takers for process and heating purposes.
BG Italia Power currently owns 8 cogeneration plants with a combined total power output of 400 MW.
