BG Group plc (“BG Group”) applies to be relieved from
reporting obligations in Canada
BG Group today announced that it has filed an application with securities regulatory authorities in Canada to be relieved from its obligations as a reporting issuer under Canadian securities legislation.
If relieved of its obligations as a reporting issuer under Canadian securities legislation, BG Group will not be required to file financial statements and other disclosure material with the securities regulatory authorities in Canada.
Holders of BG Group securities resident in Canada will continue to receive copies of documents that are required to be delivered by relevant law and regulation in the United Kingdom to holders of BG Group securities. This will be done in the same manner and at the same time as is required under such law and regulation in the United Kingdom.
Documents will also be available to BG Group security holders in the Investor Relations section of BG Group’s website (www.bg-group.com).
