We want to motivate our people to meet the highest standards, so we encourage and help all employees, at all levels worldwide, to develop relevant skills and advance their careers.

We encourage our people to think about career development in two ways. 

We help people to broaden their experience and capabilities. One way we do this is through transfers and international assignments.

We also encourage our people to progress upwards. So we have 30 Career Ladders in place. These show the different stages of progression within each business area and at every level, from technical to managerial roles, and the skills and experience required to undertake them effectively.
