Where do you fit in?

In my area of business, I’m responsible for sub-surface technical support (reservoir engineering) on oil field developments offshore Brazil.

What would I need to do your job?

You can’t have it. It’s mine!

And the highlights?

Right now, I’m working on the new Brazil discoveries in the Deep Water Santos Basin, which has been easily the most interesting and challenging project to date. I’ve enjoyed working with the team, travelling to Brazil for partner meetings and being challenged by the work. I’m starting to be given more responsibility and I’m moving from the technical role to a more management based job.

What’s the work environment like?

Our team has been quite recently formed and, since the office is being renovated, we have been moved a number of times, waiting for our final office location to be completed. We do have a great team spirit, though, and this makes the working environment really fun, even in times of change like these.

Has BG Group met your expectations?

Before I joined BG Group, I spoke to a number of friends who already worked here and canvassed their opinion, so I knew what to expect upon arrival, and it didn’t disappoint.
