The BG US Challenge presented by Fortune is one of the top inter-business competitions in the United States. Using the trademarked Intelligent Sport® concept, Challenger World, one of the world’s leading organisers of corporate team building challenges, has developed the most advanced, fun and diverse company team building events in the world with the aim of enhancing teamwork in business.
The BG US Challenge 2007 took place from 11-13 October in the Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania. The event was managed by Challenger World in partnership with Fortune magazine. Teams from various business sectors across the United States raised $460,000 for the event's official beneficiary, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the world’s premier paediatric cancer research centre.
The BG US Challenge sponsorship is in keeping with the philosophy behind BG Group’s global Energy Challenge series which has brought together hundreds of people from the energy sector while raising over £3.9 million ($7.1 million)
