Mark Carne (49) joined BG Group plc in May 2005. He is responsible for the Group’s activities in the UK, Italy, Norway and Kazakhstan and business development activities elsewhere in the region. He formerly worked for Shell where he gained extensive international industry experience including general management roles in the UK, Europe, Brunei and Oman, covering operations, engineering, commercial and business development.
