Sir John Grant (55) joined BG Group plc
in September 2009. He is responsible for
government and public affairs, communications, social performance and Business Principles. He joined the Company from BHP Billiton where he was President Europe. Formerly, he worked in the Diplomatic Service, holding various posts in Stockholm, Moscow and Brussels, where he was the UK’s Permanent Representative to the EU for four years.
