Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Africa, Middle East and Asia Region
Sami Iskander (43) joined BG Group plc in 2008. He is responsible for the Group’s activities across Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He was appointed to his current position in July 2009, having previously been Senior Vice President, Operations and Developments in BG Advance. Prior to joining BG Group, he spent his career with Schlumberger and fulfilled a number of key leadership roles with them, the latest being President of Schlumberger's worldwide Drilling and Measurements business based in Houston.
