Skills and experience:
Prior to joining BG Group in 2008, Sami spent his career with Schlumberger and fulfilled a number of key leadership roles with them, the latest being president of Schlumberger's worldwide drilling and measurements business based in Houston. He was appointed to his current position in July 2009, having previously been Senior Vice President, Operations and Developments in BG Advance. Sami is currently responsible for the Group’s activities across Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
