Chris was appointed to the Board in November 2011.

Skills and experience: Chris joined BG Group in August 2010. Formerly, he worked for Royal Dutch Shell plc for over 33 years, during which time he gained extensive technical and commercial experience in the oil and gas industry in a variety of international settings and businesses.

BG Advance is responsible for exploration, capital projects and IT & technology, and provides the Group with technical and commercial assurance and services including resourcing and development of staff capabilities.
