Paul Collins (72) was appointed to the Board as a non-executive Director with effect from 23 October 2000 after a long career with Citigroup Inc. The Board nominated him as the Senior Independent Director from 4 May 2005. He joined Citicorp in 1961 and subsequently served as the chief investment officer, headed the financial markets division, corporate planning, finance and administration, and Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He was appointed a director of Citicorp and its principal subsidiary, Citibank, in 1985 and vice-chairman in 1988. He is a non-executive director of Enstar Group Limited.
